New Day Northwest: parents & underage drinking

Yesterday, Prevention WINS coalition members appeared on KING 5's New Day Northwest to discuss how parents can prevent underage drinking.

Some of the questions were about the new social host law passed by the Mercer Island City Council.

I agree that parents should pay the price the crime done related to drinking by their underage teens has committed. I believe that more and more underage teens are drinking alcoholic drinks but their parents aren’t doing anything about it so this law is the best to make parents interact more with their kids and teens.
